Global issues are the religious, environmental and political problems and conflicts that affect the whole world. One of the global issues that I am most interested in is people without basic needs which are food, shelter and clean water. A lot of people in less developed countries have died because they don’t have basic needs.
I always care about global issues what ever I do. The videos and the books that I saw in global issues class showed me that I am probably richer than 70% of people in the earth. Now, that is a big disparity. Also, I know that I can make a difference by starting with little things, like not using plastic bottles. Everyone should care about global issues and believe that they can solve it.

You Jin - what an inspiring post! I liked the fact that you took a big issue and applied it in a smaller, more manageable way. This is exactly what we are trying to do in class, isn't it? If more people think the way that you do, then the effect will be massive. Your image and quote were pleasing - I liked the fact that you took a serious issue and used satire to respond to it.
